Murgh Malai Kabob / Chicken Malai Kabob

Murgh Malai Kabob  / Chicken Malai Kabob
Total time: 1 hour 25 minutes
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Standing time: 1 hour
Cooking time: 10 ~ 15 minutes
Serves: 6-7

INGREDIENTS:
200 grams boneless chicken, cut into bite size pieces
2 tbsp melted butter or oil

For Marination:
¾ cup heavy cream
¼ tsp green cardamom powder
1 tsp white or black pepper powder
2 green chillies - crushed
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp ginger paste
3 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp melted butter
½ tsp garam masala powder
¼ tsp amchoor
½ tsp cumin powder
1 ½ tsp salt

Method:
Preparation:

  • In a wide bowl, Mix all the marination ingredients together except chicken and butter.
  • Add chicken to the mixture. Mix and refrigerate for an hour.
Cooking:
  • Heat an oven at 180C / 350F for 15 minutes.
  • Place the marinated chicken pieces on the grill or skewer the chicken pieces.
  • Roast for 10 minutes or till cooked, drizzle melted butter or oil in between. Roast for another 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chat masala and serve hot with mint chutney.

       (OR) Cook it on stove top until all liquids evaporates and cooked well..
