Eggless Chocolate Brownies

Eggless Brwonies

I finely back to blogging after two weeks again with Blog Hop Wednesday started by Radhika of
Tickling Palates.  This week I am matched with Jothi of jbabel.blogspot..  I have chosen Eggless chocolate brownies from her space. Its a quick and easy recipes.  I have made some variation from the original recipe. If you follow the instruction correctly, sure you will end up with delicious choco brownies.....Try & Njoy with Vanilla ice cream or with chocolate syrup topping.

Dry Ingredients:
All purpose flour / maida - 1 cup (I have reduced the flour quantity from 1 ½ cups to 1 cup)
Baking soda - 1tsp
Salt - ¼ tsp

Wet Ingredients:
Low fat milk - 1 ¼cups
White vinegar - 1tbsp
Oil - ½cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Brown sugar - 11/4 cups ( I have changed caster sugar to brown sugar)
Cocoa - ½cup ( I have increased the quantity by ¼ cup from original recipe to make more chocolatee)
Choco chip  or walnuts- 3 tbsp ( I have used semi sweet dark choco chips)

 Method:

  • Preheat the oven for 160 C/320F. Line a 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or with foil.
  • Grease it with butter and keep it aside.

  • Boil the milk and add vinegar to it.  Keep it on heat for 30 seconds to milk curdle.  Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely. Give a twist in the blender and keep it aside.
  • Meanwhile sift the dry ingredients and keep it aside.

  • In a mixing bowl stir together the oil, cocoa powder and sugar until its well blended.
  • Slightly heat the oil, cocoa mixture. Stir continuously till sugar dissolves.
  • Add the flour and mix well. Then stir in blended panner and whey mixture.

  • Add vanilla essence, then fold-in Choco chips.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan evenly and bake it for 30 to 40mins.
  • Once the brownies are baked, remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  • Cut it into pieces and serve with chocolate syrup topping or with vanilla ice cream.h

Note : Above measurement and instruction gives a fool proof recipe.....Brownie will scramble while cutting. T o avoid this, refrigerate the baked  & cooled brownies for an hour and cut into pieces... If  you want to add eggs then skip milk & vinegar and add 3 whole beaten eggs. Eggs can be added  before adding choco chip.

This recipe goes to Blog Hop Wednesday..
